Airport Handling Equipment from France to Kazakhstan

Globalink Logistics Group, renowned for its experience in the CIS was recently approached by the Civil Aviation Authorities to handle time critical movement of airport handling equipment from USA and France to Kazakhstan. The equipment was required urgently for the renovation and upgrade of the airport in the Capital city of Astana and other regional airports. The timeframe to complete this delivery was extremely short as the Airport authorities had to meet their own strict deadlines before the start of OSCE Annual General Meeting in Astana.

The cargo consisted of 20 de-icing trucks and 8 push-back vehicles. Given the over-sized nature of the cargo and urgency, equipment from the USA was transported by dedicated chartered AN-124 Air Freighters whereas over-sized equipments that could not fit in AN-124 Freighter were transported over land from France to Kazakhstan by multi-axel low bed trailers. With the requirements clearly outlined by the customer, Globalink Projects and Air Freight divisions simultaneously arranged air charters, low bed trailers and special handling equipment for the transportation, loading and unloading of the cargo. Last but not least, Globalink Customs Brokerage Division completed the entire process by rapidly taking care of customs clearance formalities and ground handling of the cargo.

A brilliant job by all Globalink Divisions involved.
